Drawing Area and Kitchen
Starting with the drawing cum dining space – it is a 9 ft by 13’3 ft area having its entrance through the main gallery which also consists of a cozy mandir space and is across the kitchen. The other door opens into the passage which leads to both the bedrooms. The dining/drawing space has been so designed as to be close to the kitchen hence convenient in terms of proximity and ease in dining. Talking of the kitchen, one needs to mention the outstanding ventilation this plan provides. It is not cramped between rooms or toilets. It measures 6’6 ft by 8’6 ft and is big enough for two to three people to stand together and do the chores. There is provision for a window on the foremost wall of the kitchen, which alternatively can also be built on the other wall – the one towards the parking – too. The space between the entrance to the drawing area and the kitchen could be used as a cozy prayer space.
Bedrooms
The bedroom next to the drawing-dining space measuring 10 ft x 10’6 ft, is a huge space that can easily fit a queen size bed leaving enough space to fit a big wardrobe and a TV unit or table. The other bedroom 11 ft long and 10 ft wide is at the end and has an attached toilet cum bathroom. There is an open space next to the bathroom, which can be used for multiple purposes – one being an extended bathroom fit to keep your washing machine or use it as storage. The long passageway outside these bedrooms also could be put to various uses. The other end of this passageway has a toilet cum bathroom. It is at a convenient distance from the kitchen and the drawing-dining area. And serves as a common toilet for all rooms and the kitchen.
Porch and Car Parking
The main gate to the house opens into the porch measuring 7’6 ft x 14 ft which is big enough to be used as a car parking space. You would still be left with an area wide enough to move across with ease.
